Speaking about the halftime show days before the game, Rihanna didn't reveal much about her set list, but said she made a lot of changes while preparing for the show.
“The set list was the biggest challenge. That was the hardest part. Decide how to maximize 13 minutes. … I think we did a good job of narrowing it down,” she said, adding that trying to cram 17 years of music into such a short period of time is difficult.
"There are probably about 39 versions of the setlist now," Rihanna said.

When Rihanna steps out with a special guest, I can see her adding someone from Roc Nation, which has teamed up with the NFL for halftime show appearances. Roc Nation was founded by Jay-Z, who is credited as one of the key players in discovering Rihanna, so the midrange performance is entirely familiar.
Rihanna and Jay-Z also have songs together, like "Run This Town," "Umbrella," and "Talk That Talk," so it would make sense for them to team up for the performance. If Jay-Z shows up, I hope it's soon.
Rihanna has collaborated with many artists including Drake, Future, DJ Khaled, Emimem, Shakira, Coldplay, Calvin Harris, SZA, and Ne-Yo to name a few. Drake is an asset to us and we didn't anticipate him showing up. I could see a tweet shaking the internet announcing a new song, a single, an album or even a tour.
She gave insight into how she feels about the musical side of her future career. "Musically, I feel open. I feel open to exploring and discovering things that create different things," Rihanna said. "I just want to play. I just want to have fun...with music."

Rihanna may not have hit the stage in a while, but as one of the biggest music stars of her time, there's no doubt the show is going to be big. A rain effect during "Umbrella" is an idea that many people predicted.
